Last year I decided top subscribe to the Food Network’s Magazine for my husband. He enjoys reading the magazine and trying new recipes too, but I honestly think I am the one who anxiously awaits it in the mail every month. I could easily have a magazine addiction, and the smile it brings me to open my mailbox and see it sitting there is one of those small ‘happy moments’ in life.
For those of you who know me, I love recipes, trying them and sharing them. Anything from homemade marshmallows to cakes to soups or canning, I love creating in the kitchen! If I could do this all day and every day, and bring in a paycheque from it, I would do it!
Fall is my favourite season, it’s the crispness in the air, the leaves changing and soup season. Yesterday I found a new recipe from my Food Network magazine for Roasted Garlic Soup. I must admit, I was nervous about the amount of garlic it called for at first. The house was fragrant while the garlic roasted, it would have kept all vampires away!
I cannot wait to dig in for leftover soup, it may be my breakfast this morning. This soup was loved by the family, and I will definitely be making it again. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.
The recipe can be found here.
I tripled the recipe to make a large pot for our family!
